Hot Vinyasa Yoga

An energetic flow of diverse yoga poses practiced in a room heated to 95 degrees.  Using the beauty of yoga postures (asanas) combined with active breathing techniques, participants transform their bodies and minds. Teachers weave together wisdom teachings, poetry, and music that can inspire energetic, intuitive, and blissful states of consciousness.

AntiGravity® Restorative Yoga

AntiGravity® Restorative Yoga is the gentle, healing side of Christopher Harrison’s AntiGravity® Aerial Yoga. This powerful method focuses the mind through powerful visualizations as it floats the body through a series of gentle gyro-kinetic motions, deeply opening the entire spine, hips, and connective tissues of the body. This technique features full body inversions, alongside various forms of flowing spinal traction. It offers accessibility to students with physical limitations, but is loved by all as a portal into deeper spinal flexibility, and mind/body connection. Taught in a sequential flow to music, the class incorporates levitating meditations, zero-compression inversions, supported sun salutations, joint opening poses, and a floating sivasana. Working from different hammock heights allows for the gentle opening of hips and spine.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

Know the dress code

Hot or warm Vinyasa
The best clothing for a hot or warm yoga class is light weight, blended materials which could include but is not limited to short sleeve shirts, tank tops, short pants, capri’s and shorts. 100% cotton clothing doesn’t hold water well and as a result we recommend that practitioners avoid wearing that material during their practice.

Aerial fitness
In order to ensure the longevity of hammocks, be sure to wear either short or long sleeved shirt to AntiGravity® fitness training sessions. Students wearing ONLY tank, tube, or sports bras will not be able to take class. Additionally jewelry has the ability to snag hammocks and compromise the amount of weight the hammock can support. Do avoid wearing jewelry to classes.

Turn off your electronics
Please respect the practice space by not using any of your electronic devices inside the studio. This includes checking of email, texting, or talking on cell phones. Use this time to give yourself some personal attention and care.

Leave it outside
If your shoes are wet or dirty; please see your instructor, or a staff member, to point you in the direction of a rag-towel to clean them up. Leave the day’s dirt outside to come in for a cleansing workout!
